"'Life"

Sometimes life begins
In a setting of calmness and silance
Free to start growing
Without turmoil or violence.

Days of tender care
Love in it's fullest living
Come without thought
Or cost of the giving.

Strong roots set deep
Insure the foundation
For every real need
Of this new creation.

Sometimes life begins
With battles beginning
Each year a great struggle
Not really sure of winning.

Here it is April first and my wife Laurie's birthday, Yes and also April fools day! However she is much smarter than ol Jos'e and he is the first to admit it.
March seems to have spent its self in mid month and is exiting somewhat like a Lamb! Praise the All mighty.   We loaned out our flatbed trailer this morning for the Little Brown Church to haul some things to a fund raising sale, sure hope they do good.
I have been very fortunate in finding bicycles to fix up for our free bike project, we recently found pieces of three bikes at the green bins, ( thats where we take our garbage to be picked up by the county's big garbage truck) They will supply a lot of good usable parts.
We have been placing whole roasted (Non Salted) peanuts out on the platform feeder for the squirrels, and the Magpie's discovered the peanuts, so there has been great rivalry as to who was going to get the most, so far the squirrels have been the boss in that regard but the minute they go for a drink or? the Magpie's swoop in and carry off the nuts as fast as they can.
The deer are still passing by the house every morning and checking to see if we have put the cup full of black oil sunflower seeds out for them that we do each morning, they are quite spoiled to say the least. Also We see more and more birds that winter to the South of us, returning each day, such as the Robin, Varied Thrush and the Common Flicker are a few we have noted.
I bought a new play-pretty it is a Toshiba Lap-Top computer I plan to use it to take notes while away from home, download pictures from our digital camera so we can share them with family and friends, it also has a CD burner and lots of memory so we will be able to carry Many-Many pictures, Stories etc. along as we travel.

Weather Information

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

Again I must say aside from a few days with some strong gusts of wind and a few days of colder than usual weather March has turned out to be quite a nice late winter, early spring month. Of coarse there are many different versions of this month depending on where you happen to live.
