"'Tis a One Way Road we Travel"

'Tis a one way road we travel
On this business of living
Never to retire any happening
When it has passed the giving.

How can one know as an infant
That wisdom will grow in the heart
To live each moment to the fullest
As slowly the footsteps start.

Wise are the fathers who guide them
And help them grow each day
To be strong as they take over
And are able to chart their own way.

So many lives have been cheated
Of this help at the start
Even to think of this happening
Does really break a strong heart.

There seams no way to replace it
The love that is needed at first
The rest of their lives seeking
To fill an unquenchable thirst.

Thanksgiving left us with full stomachs and warm hearts, we were fortunate enough to have two of our kids here to celebrate with us, Lisa and Don were here to share our Thanksgiving meal, we enjoyed the meal together with a nice fire in the wood fired heater.
Laurie and I have been waiting for the "Snowy" part of the year to get here, and it is here! at last, with Thanksgiving behind us and Christmas ahead, not so far ahead either, we are basking in our winter type tempratures that both of us like so well.
We were busy this year watching and dodging some of the varied types of animals we are blessed to have in our area, first there was a "Cougar" spotted across the road from where we live" also our daughter saw Cougar tracks below our home along the hillside.  And of coarse the visiting "Black Bear" that came to check out our bird feeder this fall, in the process of trying to get up on our back deck he pulled the electrical cord loose that warms the water in the Bird-Bath during the freezing time of year.
There is also a family of deer that frequent our yard both above and below the house, consisting of a Doe with a yearling along, sometimes two. Also there is a young Buck (Forked Horn) that has been sneaking by in the last week or so, sure hope he dosn't get run over as highway 93 runs North and South between us and the lake where they drink.
We always look ahead with pleasure to the Holiday season as things approach the end of one year and the beginning of a brand new one, this year in that reguard is no different, we just finished having UPS come out and pick up 269 pounds, (six boxes) of Christmas shoe boxes, made up by all the nice people in "The Little Brown Church" over in " Big Fork " Montana.
For the children at my brother Ken and his wifeJan's Mission in Kino Mexico.

"THANK YOU"

And we want to wish all of you a " Wonderful Holiday".

Weather Information

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

Everyone seems to want to chatter about the weather (Smile) however there is not much change to report this time, we see almost a carbon copy of last months Rain, Snow and wind, which some of the "Old-Timers" say is the norm for Montana this time of year.  We did have some extra strong West wind last week.
