"What a Mother Wants"

A mother wants for her children
Happiness, as much as life can give
Much of the success can rest
With her and what lessons she will live.

Little children are much like mirrors
And reflect what they look upon
Or follow in the footsteps of others
though the shadow may be long gone.

Each time her child may tumble
When he rises from his bed
Will make him weak or stronger
From the falls he'll reach ahead.

She must be wise enough to guide him
Giving love, but not his burdens bear
Each one his road he must travel
There is much we cannot share.

The quest for truth will build for us
Honesty for ourselves and others
Building strength for every burden
With knowledge that all men are brothers.

Winter is a special time each year when Mother Nature refills all the places where water is heald for us to use, and here in Montana we just might come up a bit short as we seem to be having a light snow and rain fall at least so far this year.
I have been having a struggle with a pesky foot ulser where I bumped it on a knot sticking out on our "Carved wooden Bear" the kids bought us, that we keep in the living room, the ulcer is finally drying up and going away "Praise the Lord,, It always seems to take longer when one wants to be up and running around.
I have found some new software to help me handle and catalog the photographs that we have on our computer, it is called "Picasa" and you can download it like I did from the Google Home Page, And it is "Free" I have been using it now for several days and really like the way it works.
The deer are still passing to and froe at all hours of the day and night, both below and out in front of our home, almost every day and I never get tired of watching them and the way they move always so alert and watching for danger.
We use e-mail to keep in contact with our Brothers and Sisters as well as with several other family members both kids and Grand kids, Niece's and Nephew's, it is nice as they are scattered from British Columbia to several hundred miles down into Mexico also from California clear to the East Coast, all around it is the best thing next to talking with them on the phone. Be sure and drop by if you are in our neighborhood, until next time "Have a Great Day".

Weather Information

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

The snow condition here in the Flathead area is no better than last month, however the Ice fishermen are hard at it as the Somers Bay is still frozen out for several hundred feet into the lake, we don't have any word on whether they are catching any fish or not.    A couple of weeks ago we had almost a week of freezing rain over most of the state and the Highway Patrol had a lot of our states highways shut down for all but emergency travel.
