“If Only”

If only I could share with you
The treasure I have found.
If only you could understand
That love and joy and peace abound.

If there were only words or deeds
To reveal the beauty and perfection.
If only somehow someway someday
To turn and find a new direction.

If only you had eyes to see and ears to hear
That tender care and loves caress.
If you could know and feel
The deep concern waiting to bless.

A new dimension that is there
Waiting to be a part of our day.
Uplifting to a plane unknown
While the blindness falls away.

When you hear the gentle knock
Hidden behind that closed door.
That only you can open
Devine life forever more.

Laurie and I are still doing fine, keeping busy on these short winter days that are getting longer each day, we are still alive and kicking as they say, able to wake and roll out of bed and start each day Praise the Lord, these days we hurry and build a fire in our wood heater even though we have the furnace set low to keep the chill off the house, the mercury was setting on "0" this morning so was quite chilly .
Last summer we got some acorns from California, from a friend George Billi who lives in Paradise Ca. he sent us over a hundred and we picked some up at our daughter Heidi's place near Grass Valley Ca. we now have two shallow boxes lined with plastic and have 15 each 3"X3" Peat-Pots in each one filled with "Miracle-Grow" with two acorns planted in each, we already have 15 or twenty tiny Oaks coming up.
We were able to assemble a computer with all the trimmings for a person in our area that was in need of one, from spare components we had here around our place, he will I'm sure enjoy the word processing abilities that computers have let alone be able to enjoy getting on the World Wide Web as well as keeping in touch via e-mail.

Be sure and drop by if you are in our neighborhood, until next time
"Have a Great Day".

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

"Winter time cold snaps are passing through every once in a while, I think they must be coming from the North Pole as they are quite frigid and at this time have Somers Bay frozen over with 5" or 6" of ice, should make the ice fishermen happy.   Even with the cold and snow the deer that are always passing through are looking in good shape.
