(“GODS Word”)

God’s word is like a circle it
Doesn’t have an end.
It was in the beginning
And like a favorite friend.

It can always be inside you
And you’ll know that it is there.
To comfort when in sorrow
And all your troubles share.

It can answer every question
In a plain and simple way.
Bringing faith and adoration
To fill our hearts each day.

In it we find the promise
Made so long ago.
That he would never leave us
Because he told us so.

It tells of love unbounded
When we sit at Jesus feet.
His armor will surround us
For every trial we meet.

By faith we know the answer
In our hearts believing.
Countless are the blessings
We will always be receiving.

The word dwelt among us
As part of salvations plan.
Those who do not know him
Call him just a man.

Some day to their sorrow
They’ll know what they have lost.
The word of truth must be believed
No matter what the cost.

We are kind of sad to announce this will be the last issue of the "Flathead Lake Scuttlebutt" and we want you all to know it has pleased us to no end to have had you as readers.     However time marches on and we all must go our individual way, we have really injoyed doing this little paper with it's photos and all, also sharing the things that were going on in our life up here and now we feel it is time to seek and follow a new direction.
Things here on the "Flat-Head" are for right now in the deepfreeze of winter the animals are all in their winter coats and we were surprised to see a small flight of Canadian Geese overhead just the other day, they either are lost or are planning to spend the winter with us.    I saw what I believe were Wolf tracks last week crossing our property we sure don't see many of them, Laurie and I are both well and enjoying our winter weather up here and as we get older we are keeping closer this time of the year to the old wood heater.
We want to give a huge amount of credit to our dear Neices, Cheryl Mathwig and Wendy Butler who have given help when ask as well as being "Web Host" to our little paper, without them this could not have happened.   We would enjoy hearing from you if you chose, And maybe we'll meet down the road? May this new year bring many blessings to you all!

Weather Information

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

"We are receiving just enough snow to keep around three inches of that white stuff on the ground at least so far, maybe it will get busy in this new year and pile on enough to let me exersize our little ATV snow plow?    The mountains around our valley are looking better all the time with their white blanket of snow and the ski areas have all opened for their winter season.
Also a plus for the snow is that there is no dust being raised on Boon Rd. to vex us, even though the snow dosn't seem to have slowed the up and down stream of traffic on the road.
