A poem for her Mother and Fathers 50th Anniversary

You've walked this road together
For fifty years today
For solving all lifes problems
I'm sure you've found a way.

We greet you now with pleasure
On this your Golden Day
The ten who've been your anchor
Now bow our heads and pray.

That God will stay beside you
As you live each coming day
To each of us some part of you
Was born and made to grow.

Sometimes it's hard to see the thread
That makes us always know
Can pull us back 'ere we go to far
From the way we should not go.

     Another of our dear Lords birthdays has passed and a new year has arrived, as time keeps marching along.   And yes we did have a "White Christmas" Oh how pretty with Laurie's Deer and Trees out in the front yard that are covered with bright lights. We have had several inches of new snow over the past couple of weeks and the mercury is holding between "0" and the "20" degree mark, sure makes that wood fire feel great.
     Our daughter Lisa and hubby Don finished the house they were building in Kalispell, they were building it to sell and it sold before they even finished it, how nice for them , now it is time for them to start a new project, they do have some remodeling jobs to keep them busy.
     I have been doing some painting which I enjoy also I still tie fishing flies for friends and to give to organizations that are holding sales to raise money. Laurie keeps her time pretty well used up with her baking and all through the winter stew's and soups she prepairs, M-M-M Good! I also have a gigantic project I started for the new year of scanning into the computer all of our family pictures in preparation to get as many pictures and as much family history together and copied on to CD's for each of our family members, I imagin it will use up most of any spare time I have for most of the year? We ask God to bless each of you and that this new year will be special.

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

As December came on line we experienced typical Montana (West of the Rockies) weather which is some what less severe for the most part than Montana's Eastern half. We have had sessions of fierce West winds at times also some low clouds on occation but very little fog, the local ski areas Big Mountain and Black Tail Mountain have suffered from this drier season, it was not quite as bad on Big Mountain as they do make some of their own snow .
