“Teach Me”

Teach me dear Jesus
To put all my trust in you.
When things get tough
To know you'll see me through.

To keep that light shining
The world needs so much.
To stand for you daily
Remembering your gentle touch.

That my life's to be a window
For your love to shine through.
So while serving others
I'll be serving you.

wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Well a brand new year " 2007 " has overtaken us with a flurry of light snow falls along with cold days that are some what milder than past ones of this time of year.   We have both been blessed with good health, except for the usual aches and pains that go along with people of our age "Smile".
There has not been too much happening around here in the last month as we have been hunkered down waiting for this new year to arrive, however after the first of our light snow falls I was able to see where quite a few of our forest friends had left their tracks for us to see, among them were Rabbit, Squirrel, Raccoon, Deer, maybe a coyote and it looked like someones stray cat.
Don and Lisa two of our kids that live near by have parked their sailboat "Snowy" here by our shop until snow conditions let them take it to the marina in Somers, and while here, like it's name it received it's first coat of snow.
We pray your "Christmas" was a Great one and that this "New Year" will prove to be so as well.

Be sure and drop by if you are in our neighborhood, until next time
"Have a Great Day".

Weather Information

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

"The clouds roll in most of the time from the west as most of our weather travels from West to East but there are some that arrive from the South-West and they seem to be the ones to carry a heavier dose of snow or rain.
The snow is so pretty and with Laurie's new Ford Explorer 4 wheel drive SUV it is no problem driving in it.   We are anxious to see of the predictions of the Farmers Almanack for a lighter winter come true.
