"'A Family Tree"

"Mothers maiden name was Addleman"

The Addlemans have a family tree
They're as happy as can be
The trunk began with Mom and Dad
The roots were there and they were glad.

The limbs became their boys and girls
Some hair was straight and some had curls
One at a time or maybe two
Twins came twice and how they grew.

More branches were added to this tree
When the children married, don't you see
The twigs came now and oft so fast
The grandchildren were in the cast.

As they grew up the time had come
for each of them to have a home
Now leaves are needed on this tree
The leaves, great grandkids can be.

The aunts and uncles came to view
What had happened to these two
Who drew their help from God above
Have long been happy and in love.

June according to some of the " Old Timers" is traditionally our wet time of year. This year has proven them on the plus side of the scale of predictions .
Laurie and I arrived home from our last outing, to "South Lake Tahoe" California where we attended an Ellsworth and friends, "2004" Family Reunion, as we finished unpacking Laurie looked out to see a half grown "Moose" trotting across our front yard, what a strange looking animal they are, so ungainly and beautiful at the same time.   Also our daughter Lisa had mowed our patch of "DandeLions" while we were away and now it looks like a real lawn again.
The highway department is hard at work re-doing Hwy 93 as it enters Kalispell, with a mile or so of improved 4 lane access to the city, also as I mentioned before it will include a much needed bicycle trail along one side of the highway.
We now have 19 bicycles repaired and ready to send out, some will go back to Mexico with brother Ken and some will be sent out to worthy familys locally, we will be in touch with "Big Brothers & Big Sisters" organization also, any that are left and any newly repaired we will see that they get a good home right here in the valley.
Our "Scuttlebutt" page is now on a server set up and maintained by a family member "Steve Mathwig" who along with wife Cheryl reside in Carson City Nevada, we have been looking forward to this day for almost a year now!

Weather Information

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

The balance of the month of June was right on target with much needed moisture to nourish the land and the spring grass, flowers and refurbish our water supplies .  Last week we had a few days of real "Old Time" thunder bumpers that shook the house to the core & scared Laurie to boot.
The Flathead lake is nearly what they call "Full Pool" that means it is almost to the high water point, they let out water in the winter to minimize ice damage to all the boat docks etc. now it is full enough that our Son in Law Don & daughter Lisa have just launched their sail boat.
