"Them's Peas"

I like to view me Grandpapa
With determined brow and stubborn jaw.

With hearty laugh and devilish smile
And eyes A dancing all the while.

He chose for him the perfect mate
With laugh subdued and smile sedate.

With careful manners and grace genteel
A love for art her achilles heel.

Yet together they go like peas in a pod
Surely the match was arranged by God.

Brother Ken and wife Jan are with us now for a few weeks, They arrived a few days ago with their fifthwheel trailer and are parked in a spot where we have hookups for their trailer, it is such a pleasure to have them here.  We plan on having some quality time spent with them while they are here, He has already helped me with repairing the front wheel on my mountain bike also we plan to have him drop a tree here in the yard that has a doubtful root system and might in a wind storm fall and hit the house or shop.
We have moved two of our our wooden half barrels out on the rear deck and filled them with planting material, already Laurie and daughter Lisa have them filled with flowers picked up at the local nursery, they also have all the planter's in front of the house filled with bright colorfull flowers.

Be sure and drop by if you are in our neighborhood, until next time

Weather Information

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

"I do think our rainy season is over, and the weather is warming quite nicely, we are still having nice cool evenings and nights..  The past week or so we have experienced some passing thunder storms laced with loud thunder and lightning displays, it is sure something we expect this time of year also something I for one enjoy.
Also the mountains around our valley have been partly covered at times with tall anvil bottomed cloud formations, so pretty looking like large stacks of whipped cream.
