(The BIBLE GOD's Word)

What has happened to love
The kind the Bible tells about.
Now days we seldom hear it
Times past they’d sing or shout.

Some homes do not have one
Some others it is covered with dust.
As it rests upon a corner table
In it no one put’s their trust.

Of all that people talk about
You seldom hear the name.
Of Jesus or his Father’s love
And how to earth he came.

No wonder many hearts tremble
And shake about in fear.
When they can not see
Their guardian angel standing near.

Open the pages of the Bible
So God’s word can speak to us.
To tell of all the promises
And who we can really trust.

Unless we read believing
The Holy Spirit can not come.
To dwell within to guide us
As we seek to find our heavenly home.

You’ll never know the blessings
That can be your’s alone.
Or how many years are wasted
Each day that has come and gone.

When we really know the Savior
Who died that we might live.
Then we’ll know how much love
God was willing for us to give.

Of all the knowledge in the world
This alone is above all the rest.
To remember that only Jesus
Was able to stand the test.

The big ysrd sale we had was a huge success, thanks to all the help we had from our kids, daughters Lisa who lives nearby with hubby Don and also Heidi and Al along with granddaughter Michelle who came up from their home in California to help, it lasted two days and it seamed there was no end to the string of people who came to shop and buy. We even had a couple or three out of state people who dropped by.     Our local neighbors and us finally had to resort to putting a coat of oil on the road again to help control that old deamond DUST!
I have been getting wood split and stacked for this coming winter, even with the help of our hydraulic splitter it takes more time and energy to accomplish each year,   I am at a loss for things to write about as the months seem to speed by faster each year and my thinking process trudges along at a slower & slower pace.
We already hear the pop and whistle of fireworks each evening from the early birds that can't seem to wait for the Fourth of July to celebrate.   Well we have made it past the longest day of the year and now as each day gets shorter we can look forward to cooler and quieter evenings.

Be sure and drop by if you are in our neighborhood, until next time
"Have a Great Day".

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

"Yes summer is for sure here with it's heat although we still have those sudden what we call "good old Montana weather" thunder storms that move in and out in minutes, most of the time leaving the air smelling fresh and clean .
We did have a monster wind storm a few days back with winds that bent the trees to a scary angle and brought down lots of limbs and boughs, along with many pine and fir cones.
