(An Earnest Worker)

Be an earnest little worker
Live for Jesus every day.
Learning how you can serve him
Learning to give thanks and pray.

You will grow up to be happy
Full of love and peace and joy.
Ready to tell Gods message
Whether you are a girl or a boy.

God’s love is like a tiny candle
Burning bright inside of you.
It can shine out to tell the story
About what Jesus came to earth to do.

Walking in his steps is not always easy
In our work or in our play.
With his help we can surely do it
That’s what words in the Bible say.

Little children are like flowers
Growing in the garden of life.
No weeds must be there to choke them
Or turn them aside to sin or strife

Let’s till this fertile soil together
Watching closely while they grow.
Carefully guiding every footstep
Till in strength their way they know.

Well the county has graded our road again and smoothed out all the bumps and chuck holes, it has rained every so often and so far has kept the dust down pretty well.   Our little Baby oak trees are doing real good, we did lose three or four of them but have plugged in some more acorns to see if they will fill in the spaces?   I just finished installing a new rear tire on my bicycle also had a spoke to replace while the tire was off, I washed it and cleaned it up and have a new chain on the way to get it ready for this biking season.
We had a surprise visitor a few days past, a little Cinnamon Colored bear climbed up onto our back deck to dine on the bird seed and suet cake, ( Per Photo) I chased him away but we will have to stop putting feed out for the birds until the "Bear Scare" is passed.
We are sorting through all our "STUFF" and setting the things we don't want or need aside for a planned "Yard Sale" , hoping we will meet some new people, make some new friends and get rid of some of our unwanted things.

Be sure and drop by if you are in our neighborhood, until next time
"Have a Great Day".

Weather Information

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

"It is getting warmer by the day and with the warmth comes new growth almost everywhare, it is an exciting and beautiful time of year.   The visible snow pack on the mountains around our valley is almost gone and the lake is at full pool now.   During the winter they lower the lake level 10 or 12 feet to minimize Ice damage to the docks etc.
We did have some nice rain storms the past few weeks with a couple of thunder storms along with them.
