"'The Search"

Mankind for ages, has felt a need
To find out, just who he can be
If a search is made, where it will lead
He must follow, his eyes open to see.

His soul reaches out, eager to learn
Of the power from whence it came
The light within must continue to burn
And always keep alive the flame.

What freedom exists it cannot know
Until the shackles are fallen away
To what extent it is able to grow
Will depend on how much he can pray.

Communion of spirit to stay in tune
Draws closer that higher power
Up and out to the great unknown
For strength that comes in the hour.

March has arrived like a "Lamb" I wonder if it will leave like a "Lion"? The animals look like they have weathered the winter in fine shape, the deer are not in bad shape at all and the squirrels are nice and fat, it's no wonder as they have been helping the birds at the feeder all winter.
Now that the snow is almost gone there is quite a bit of ice on walks and drive way, due to snow being packed down by car and foot travel. I have seen some large birds circling in the air at the edge of the lake, I think it is to early in the season for Ospray to be back so I suppose they were bald eagles which some I understand do winter here.
We have a new system here in the Flathead Valley called "FreeCycle" instead of throwing something away that might not have any but little value, you can list on the internet at FreeCycle for someone to claim, thereby instead of recycle it's FreeCycle. I was able to pick up three older bicycles to take into my shop and refurbish to later give to some child or whoever that is in need.
The time whizzes by so fast now days, you know it is almost time for Laurie and I to head out South on our semi-annual trek to points South and West, we do look forward to those trips to visit family and friends.

Weather Information

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

There have been no heavy storms this past few weeks so our snow on the ground is almost gone. The tempratures also have been on the mild side for this area, also we have had few days of low clouds or fog which on the colder freezing days deposite heavy frost on all the trees and bushes, whish makes a real winter wonderland.
