“Blessed is the Preacher”

Blessed is the preacher
With the bible in his hand.
He needs no other armor
To go to any land.

Hungry hearts wait for the message
Held in this great book.
It is never out of date
No matter where you look.

Time is growing shorter
For his word to get around.
The world is full of yearning
Just to hear the sound.

Of praise and love to Jesus
By those who know him best.
While still the way is open
Come enter in and rest.

Up on his precious promises
The bible tells about.
We can stand
We must not do without.

Have faith to believe
And come to hear the word.
While seeking for the lost
The gentle call is heard.

Our preacher is the sample
And the shepherd in his place.
In the book he reads the message
Of God’s mercy and his grace.

Come and hear just how it tells us
That God gave his only son.
A gift to all who listen
For eternal life to come.

March 2006, Another month another page in our life story, we all must follow this path.  There is not a huge amount of new things to tell you this month however I will try to bring what news there is up to date.  Brother Ken and wife Jan of Tucson Az. will be returning again to "Bahia Kino Mexico" where their Mission for that little fishing village is.  Also daughter Lisa's hubby Don is heading for Arizina for a little  " R & R".
The Somers Bay and Boon Road is experiencing a boom in growth with houses poping up all over like mushrooms on a forest floor, it seems there are an unlimited number of new people arriving each month I wonder sometimes where they all come from.   As February winds down it dropped a nice late snow-fall, enough that I got to exercise our little ATV snow plow, it was fun being able to shove the snow around and to exercise the little machine that rests most of the year.
A couple of weeks ago as I hiked out to our news paper box out on Boon Road, there in the dusting of new snow from the night before was the prettiest set of "Cougar Tracks" you ever saw, it only proves we live on the edge of truly Wild Country.

Be sure and drop by if you are in our neighborhood, until next time
"Have a Great Day".

Weather Information

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

"March has arrived, right on time just like nature planned.  This past month we experienced a surprise late snow fall,  the squirrels have taken advantage of the light winter and are out and about.
However we have had some fairly cold times this past month, with enough ice forming on Somers bay to see several "Ice Fishermen" out there fishing through the ice.  Also Boon Road has been like a skating rink with the thaw-freeze cycle, it keeps the County road crew busy sanding and caring for the still unpaved road.
