“Prayer”

"Prayer" In the quiet of the evening
At the close of a busy day.
Ti's always a real blessing
To pause for a time to pray.

A thankful heart remembers
All the things the Lord has done.
To make our life worth living
From dawn to setting sun.

His promises are never broken
We can on him depend.
The years pass by uncounted
For him time has no end.

A new day is soon coming
We'll see him face to face.
In faith our hope is founded
He saves us by his grace.

The heavenly father reigns eternal
How precious is his name.
Our Lord Jesus sits beside him
No other has such fame.

wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

The past few weeks have been good ones although Boon road is quite bumpy with potholes in the inderlaying ice and snow, the county road crew can do nothing to improve it untill the weather improves and the roadbed warms up where they can use the grader on it.
As I mentioned last month we are raising some California Oak trees from acorns brought here last fall, as of now they are doing real good and will be ready to set out this spring, see the picture of them in this issue.     The deer are still passing through our property and at times we see 8 or 10 in a bunch, they are so pretty, Last week we also had three wild turkeys wandering around our yard, we don't encourage them to stay.
Our fire wood we keep in the mudroom is dwindling, our daughter Lisa brought us a nice jag of wood she had cut and split, it burns quite well and we enjoy having it.
I have been working on a project to copy some Video8 tapes to DVD for my brother Ken, I'm finished now and they turned out ok, I think he will like them.

Be sure and drop by if you are in our neighborhood, until next time

Weather Information

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

"Every night it seems we have an inch or so of that white stuff, it dosen't stay around for too long and the ice on Somers Bay is going fast also not enough for the ice fishermen right now but while the ice was here there were a couple of teen age boys caught a 31+ pound Pike that was 47" long, What a thrill.
