“My Savior”

I lift up my eyes
And the light bids me come.
The light of my savior’s love
Is bright as the sun.

Where he reigns from on high
In that city so fair.
How I long to see him
And be with him there.

So I’ll just travel along
Looking ahead.
With my eyes wide open
I’ll see where he led.

Telling those I meet
While making my way.
There’s a savior that loves them
He’ll be coming some day.

The word must be taken
To the ends of the earth.
And every soul hear the good news
Proclaimed at his birth.

To finish the work
He told us to do.
I know he was speaking
To both me and you.

He must use our hands
To get the job done.
Our feet to go take us
Where he would have gone.

Our tongues must tell others
He died for them too.
To those who’ve not heard
The message is new.

If we all work together
God’s family will grow.
And we’ll gather in harvest
The seed that we sow.

My goodness May is upon us with all the fruit trees and willows budding out, it is so different here in Montana than when we used to live in Northern California, there the trees blossomed somewhat earlier than they do here.   The state division of highways is " Over-Paving" highway 93 that Boon Rd. takes off from, They are paving it from Somers, South ten miles about 4 miles past the little tpwn of Lakeside.
As per one of the photos in this month's addition, the Osprey have returned in the last week or so to the Flathead Valley, almost all the Nest platforms have a pair of birds nesting on them.    I am waiting for a new rim for my bicycle rear wheel to arrive, the rim developed a split big enough to make me quit riding on it for fear of being caught out on the trail with a blow-out, as soon as the new rim arrives and I get it laced to the rear hub I will be able to return to the trail.
Our backyard bird count for the Cornell Lab has ended this past April 7th for this season, it will start again in November. The wild geese are busy overhead flying to and froe to their nesting sites here in the valley.   Laurie and I want to take a return trip to the "Black Hills" of South Dakota to check out Mt. Rushmore along with seeing the progress on the "Crazy Horse Memorial" this month if we can.   Just think our Ellsworth Family Reunion is the middle of next month.

Be sure and drop by if you are in our neighborhood, until next time
"Have a Great Day".

Weather Information

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

"May came on us with no great surprise, but with we hope the end to wet stormy weather, we are ready for a bit of sunshine now.   The mountains that surround our home and valley are so beautiful and are covered with a nice white coat of snow, I hope it will stay nice and cold up higher to meter the snow melt so we are spared any flooding due to a spring thaw.
The weather right now is mild and sunny and the weather people have promised for the most part it will continue at least for a week or so, I sure hope that the cherry trees when they bloom this spring are spared any chance of frost also that a good crop of cherries are forth comming.
