“Thoughts”

     November is here along with a real change in the weather, it all started when we returned from our fall "2003" trip south to visit family and friends, a few days after our return to Montana we had our first snow fall it was only an inch but was very cold.
     As for our trip, we started South on the 10th of October and traveled to Ontario Oregon around 450 miles from home where we spent our first night out. The next day was a short drive of about 250 miles to where My sister Beverly lives with her daughter Wendy Butler & Family, there we spent the next night, after a nice visit and a great supper of Lasagna. Wendy and Sis motored in their car, us in ours, to breakfast at Fernley Nevada, then we followed them on down to Carson City.
     We arrived that afternoon at my "Nephew and Niece" Steve and Cheryl Mathwig's beautiful new home in Carson City, (We missed seeing daughter Pam and Family in Reno Nevada as they were back East to see a newly arrived grandchild),  After a great visit with Steve and Cheryl ( Bev and Wendy had stayed till evening to visit and returned home that evening ) after spending the night with them we traveled on over to Grass Valley California via Lake Tahoe to one of our daughters, Heidi and hubby Al's nice home in Alta Sierra (Our California Bed & Breakfast).
     Heidi had invited some of our Kids and Grandkids to be there (All their House would hold) and for better than a week their home was buzzing with feeding, visiting, video gaming along with a lot of picture taking,  a wonderful time was had by all.
     Laurie and I returned home taking a different route this time, Traveling North up through California on Interstate I-5 into Oregon staying the first night near Eugene Or, then traveling up the Columbia River Gorge almost to Spokane Wa, the second day where we hold up in a motel 6, before the final leg of our trip, winding our way back home.
