"Poem  #23"

In memory of my dearest Mother

"Tangled Thoughts"

I sort of get into a tangle
When my thoughts I would unwind
My words go all asunder
The right ones I cannot find.

When I try to tell a story
In a poem sort of way
I want it to sound happy
To be filled with thoughts so gay.

Then I write down what I feel like
And it reads so insecure
Till of what I had been thinking
I'm really not quite sure.

Maybe I should start singing
Or dancing all around
Until my ears start ringing
And the right words I have found.

wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Well I'm happy to say that the wood we talked of last issue is safely and securly stored away in our mud room which puts it nice and close to where it will be used..
I have been busy the last few days repairing the rear shock on my mountain bicycle, the stem in the shock had broken off near the small end and I had to build a new mount so I can use a different brand of shock, as parts are no longer available for the one I have, the operation seems to have been successful, time and use will tell.  We still have not had any luck getting pictures of the longhaired cattle out on airport road, they seem to be avoiding us? or something like that.
Some friends of brother Ken's "The Haddons" who live near Salmon Idaho, came by with their puckup and flatbed trailer and picked up 9 apple boxes which Laurie had packed for brother Ken & Sister Jan's Mission in Kino Mexico, along with 13 used bicycles I had repaired to running shape to go to the same place, thereby saving a lot of UPS expense, we do thank them for their most welcome help, they will be taking all this along with a lot more from their neck of the woods, down to Tucson for Ken and Jan to move across the border and to their mission.
Laurie and I went to Sagle Idaho and spent two nights with son Mike and wife Fern, granddaughter Devon let us use her bed while she spent nights on the couch, thank you Devon. Mike has been using some of his spare time building what he calls "Creations" however I call them "Scrap Metal Art " They are for sure one of a kind and quite unusual, I will try to put some of them in the next Scuttlebutt. Until next time, Do Have a Great Day.

Weather Information

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

Again we come around to talking about the weather, It never ceases to amaze me the day to day and hour to hour changes mother nature applies to our weather here by the Flathead, why one morning not long ago our day started off with a rosy sun-rise and minutes later it was raining with a beautiful rainbow up overhead, then within the same hour it was clear again and the air was starting to warm for the day.
About the time you think you are getting a hint on how it will go you receive another surprise twist and the weather races off on another tangent, I guess if it was easy all the weather people would be more accurate in their predictions?
