The purpose of a christian
When he has had the call.
Is to tell the world about a savior
How he loved and died for all.

That every one is a sinner
Needing salvation that is free.
The strength is there to uphold us
When we open our eyes to see.

God's promises never fail you
He will keep them every one.
His love seems to have no ending
He sent to us his son.

Who walked this earth to show us
How men could follow him.
To serve among their brothers
Teaching God can forgive all sin.

     Well we spent a quiet halloween this year, I'm home holding down the fort and Laurie has flown to Albuquerque along with daughter Lisa to attend our son Steven's wedding, he has planned a halloween wedding.
      So far no more visits by our bear friend, must be about time for him to bed down for the winter, and it's time to start feeding our birds again, as our backyard bird count for the Cornell Lab will soon start.
     Brother Ken was up from Tucson AZ. a couple of weeks ago to pick up a large trailer load of supplies used and new, things donated by the Little Brown Church consisted of around 100 Christmas shoebox presents for his mission children in Kino Mexico, also a local contractor donated the building supplies, Laurie and I had gathered 10 junior sized bicycles with the help of our neighbor Markson Yde, the bicycles are all the older single speed type which are easier to maintain as there is less moving parts.
     The fall colors are so beautiful this year they really are beyond description.

"We just recieved our first measurable snow as we were prepairing this issue, also the temps have been in the single digits for a few mornings now. I think we are about normal for our rain fall so far, maybe a bit ahead.
"The mountains around the valley have a nice white cap that will probably last the winter.
