"For Your Shower"

We've planned this little party
As people often do
To get a chance to meet you
And help a little to.

We know you will be needing
Those things of pink and blue
For the new one that is coming
To make it's home with you.

Each bit of lace and ribbon
Was bought with loving care
To make things for your baby
And we are glad to have a share.

When you hold that little bundle
So close up to your brest
You will then know for certain
Just how much you have been blessed.

wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

As I get older it becomes harder to remember that I should write about the past month and not about the present time! or maybe it's just me or again maybe it dosn't really matter.   In any event time seems to whiz by at a faster rate and I find the need to warm up the computer and get to work on another copy of the "Scuttlebutt" after all it is a project dear to my heart and I want to pursue it as long as I am able.
Laurie and I bought four cord of 18 inch long chunk wood and I have been spliting it up into smaller pieces so it will be dry by the time we need it this winter the weather has not been helping in that it has been cool and raining a lot so I am not sure the wood will be ready when needed, we will just have to wait and see.
There is quite a heard of what I think are "Scottish Highland" cattle in a pasture this side of Kalispell along Airport road, they are short legged with long hair and some have long horns, sure are different looking than most of the cattle in this area.   Also this year there has been a sharp rise in both Grizzly and Black bear activity down on the valley floor, the fish and game contribute it to a lack of berries and food tthe bears usually feed on this time of year up high, so they are showing up down here to raid homes and outbuildings for anything they can find, getting to be quite a problem, also there have been several hit by automobiles in our area.

Weather Information

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

The sun has blessed us less this last month than in past years at thes time and we have had somewhat more rain in the same time-frame, but we are sure not complaining about that as it has helped a lot to replace the moisture we had lost in the past.
Another great thing about cool weather is it makes for better bicycle riding, of which we are always seeking an opportunity to do.
