"When the going gets Tough"

The only way I’ve found
When the going gets tough
To smooth out the bumps
So the way isn’t so rough.

Is to turn to Gods word
For the promises he made
They are ever lasting
And will never fade.

There is a spirit within us
That cries out to our God
For refuge in storms
This way many have trod.

T’is a wonder to know
When we stand deep in sin
There’s a way to be forgiven
And a new life begin.

wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Life is good here in "Flathead" Country, all of our guests have left and life is slowly getting back to what we call normal.   The grass and bushes are starting to loose their green and take on the brown cast of late summer, Our deer are still showing up most every day, we have two mama deer with twin fawns that are regular visitors, one set of twins are quite a bit larger than the other, they must have been born some what earlier than the others.
I may have mentioned this before, I do seem to repeat myself more than I used to,  "Smile" the building of homes further up Boon Rd. must be advancing rapidly if the truck and auto traffic is any indicator.   It is getting time for me to start moving the stacked wood into the "Mud Room" where we keep our winters supply of fire wood.   Wife Laurie has motored into Kalispell this morning to do some shopping and I am finishing up this months "Scuttlebutt".   This issue of the Scuttlebutt has photos compliments of our Grand-kids Jason & Marie DeMelo who live in Vancouver BC.

Be sure and drop by if you are in our neighborhood, until next time

Weather Information

"A look at some of the weather we are having."

"We woke up this morning 9-01-06 to a temp of 32deg. at 6;00AM . Brrrr! our neighbor Markson Yde and I plan to go bicycling this afternoon maybe, weather permitting.   We did have a dusting of snow up in the mountains around the valley last night, however we do not expect much more to follow this time of year.
Lauries flowers took a beating yesterday when a quick moving thunder storm dropped almost 1/2 inch of hail in aprox 5 minutes and kind of done a job on her flowers.
